Sympathetically built in keeping with its surroundings, using traditional Savoyard style materials and architecture La Tania, is the newest resort in the 3 valleys. Purpose built to house journalists and athletes for the 1992 Winter Olympics, the resort is often described as a hidden gem.
Situated at 1400 metres in between Meribel and Courchevel, the small hamlet, boasts quick and easy access to the entire 3 valleys ski range, the largest ski area in Europe. La Tania town is traffic free which is ideal for children. Another important factor is most items are cheaper in La Tania than its neighbours, for example: a pint of beer would cost €5 instead of €6 in either Meribel or Courchevel.
There is also a free bus service linking La Tania, to Le Praz, and Courchevel 1550, 1650 and 1850.
