Q: What is included in the price?
A: 7 night’s accommodation, 6 days cooked & continental breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner, Linen, Towels, Toiletries, Parking, Champagne reception, red & white wines and beer, and cheeseboard and port on the last night.
Q: What is not included in the price (but can all be arranged)?
A: Travel and transfers, Ski pass, lessons and equipment hire, holiday/medical insurance, and lunches.
Q: Can I see a sample menu?
A: It would be our pleasure to show you:
  • Goats cheese salad served on a bed of fresh crisp lettuce topped with bacon croutons, roasted pine nuts and a raspberry jus
  • Smoked salmon, scallops, tiger prawns and sole served on toasted wholegrain garlic muffin, with a black olive infused coulis
  • Slow roasted tender lamb shank, on a bed of whole grain mustard and emmental mash with fresh regional country vegetables
  • Savoyarde style vegetarian tartiflette with Reblochon cheese
  • White chocolate and coconut torte with mint choc chip topping
  • Raspberry and mascarpone cheesecake with honey drizzle and baileys ice cream
Q: What methods of payment are available?
A: Payment can be made by direct bank transfer, cheque or credit/debit card. Please note payments by credit/debit card attract a 2.5% bank fee.
Q: Can you arrange everything for us? Flights, transfers, ski and boot hire, lessons and passes?
A: Yes! We offer a total end to end solution. We are able to arrange everything for you and we don’t charge for this service. You just pay the third parties direct for the options you choose. At skiwhite we offer FREE in chalet ski and boot fitting service in all of our chalets. Dedicated ski engineers will fit and service skis from the comfort of your own chalet for the same price as hiring from the shop.
Q: Can we bring pets along?
A: Yes pets can be accommodated in certain chalets and on whole chalet bookings only. The owner is totally responsible for the pet. This includes making good any damages and ensuring the well being of the pet. Please enquire if your chalet accepts pets.
Q: Where in the Three Valleys is La Tania?
A: La Tania is situated between Courchevel and Meribel. Ski passes for the Courchevel valley are valid in La Tania. For more information please see www.latania.com.
Q: Can we have children’s meals earlier?
A: Yes, Skiwhite offers children’s high tea, at a time that suits the parents. Children’s tea is at no extra cost as long as it is requested at the time of booking.
Q: Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
A: Yes. Skiwhite caters for special dietary requirements, as long as the requirement is requested at the time of booking. Our staff will work with our guests to draw up a menu plan using what ingredients are available in the French Alps. It may happen that guests will need to bring their own special food, however, our staff are happy to cook guests special food, as long as it has been stored in hygienic conditions as laid out under European law.
Q: How much do Ski Passes cost?
A: Please see the grid below. Please note these are 2008 prices. No photographs are required. Family passes are available saving €88 for a family of four.

Q: What is the approximate cost of boot and ski hire?
A: Depending on your level of skiing, for example beginners don’t require the latest newest skis on the market so prices start from €55 for ski/board boots for 6 days and €115 for skis/board for the 6 days. Note: Optional insurance is recommended but not included and is from €2.6 per day. Children’s (under 13) skis and boots start from €70 for the 6 days. Helmets can be rented for the week at €20. We very strongly recommend everyone wears helmets.
Q: What is the cost of ski school?
A: Depends on which type of lessons you choose. Group Lessons start from €180 for 5 days. Private lessons start from €30 per hour per person.
